If your children like the Teletubbies they will love this BBC software package. Players can choose which Teletubby they would like to be and move around Teletubby Land finding lots of exciting activities to do.
The activities include hide and seek, find the object and musical clouds, and each activity has instructions on what to do and a time limit so your child doesn't get bored. You can also enter the Superdome where the characters can meet up with Noo-Noo (the hoover!) to make some mess with tubby custard and tubby toast.
This game has wonderful graphics and lots of colour and familiar sound; each Teletubby sings their own tune as they go about their business and the theme tune is played often. Play with the Teletubbies is great for children aged two to four, teaching colours, counting and co-ordination.
Younger players will require supervision and assistance, as they will need to use the mouse to play most games. However, the reward true tubby fans get will far outweigh the effort as they see their favourite Teletubby come to life before their very eyes.
To link the game to the TV programme the makers have added a number of short video clips of children going about daily life. This game is fantastic: they haven't forgotten a thing. --Lynne Bradding

Preschoolers on a PlayStation? Normally we wouldn't put both words in the same sentence. But before you run out and buy this CD for your young Teletubbies fan, be aware that it has some limitations. The game starts with the four Teletubbies, all lined up in a row. You use the right hand controls to move a Teletubby around the screen. It doesn't really matter which one you choose, as each lets you discover the same things. Once you've grabbed your Teletubby, you move him or her around Teletubbyland, where you discover 11 activities. Nearly all of these are simple causal games, letting toddlers press any key to make something happen on the screen. For example, in the Hiding game, you steer your Teletubby to another Teletubby that is hiding nearby. Once all are found, they give each other a group hug. The main problem with the program is that kids get lost in the Teletubbies' world. There is no connection between the icons and the activities that they launch, and once inside an activity, it is impossible to exit. Children play for two minutes, and then are automatically ejected back into the Teletubbies' world. This is too bad, because nearly all of the games are responsive and fun. The good news is that because it is easy to control the Teletubbies, kids stay glued to the program. Also noteworthy are the wonderful, full-screen, full-motion video clips, taken directly from the Teletubbies show. The bottom line: if your child loves Teletubbies and you have a PlayStation, get this disk. But be prepared to spend time helping.

Really very dissappointed with this - it is impossible for the child to really make decisions and is a bit random. Everything takes ages to do, and is even more repetetive than the tv programme. Nothing is obvious for the pre-schooler to actually be in control of. The video clips are pointless, and the activities are painful.
Well i have brought this cd so many times my son has autism he's nine and adores this cd its bright colourful and really easy to use and understand ideal for younger children and children with autism ...well worth the buy
