When you consider how much a 160GB iPod Classic costs I find it shocking that Apple doesn't provide the buyer with a mains charger as well as an USB charger. Surely by now they must realise that not everyone is using a computer 24-hours a day and charging their iPod's or MP3 players as they go.
Thankfully, this product does exactly what it claims to do, and for the price it's an absolute bargain. Highly recommended.

Amazon Verified Purchase
The first charger delivered had to be returned because the pins were out of alignment with mains socket. So much so that I did not even attempt to put any pressure on the plug. The sellers were very good at replacing the item which fitted perfectly, and was delivered by return. This seems to be a problem with this piece of equipment.

Charger arrived promptly. It works as advertised, except, the UK plug is just the wrong size and does not fully fit into most sockets that I have tried it in. You just can't get it fully inserted in the socket, not dangerous as the live terminals are covered, but could be a problem if small hands get near it.

As with most chargers they work well or don't. This does a fine job and although i've only used it a couple of times since getting my Ipod Classic 160GB, it's charged it up fine. Read more
