The perfect introduction to Swingball for younger players. With this classic game, there's no need to worry about those big hits over the fence or into the flower bed, everything you need is right there. Featuring a ball swinging on its string and a solid base unit, kids can be sure that the ingredients to this game are always right there in the garden.
Play starts with the tether positioned in the middle of the spiral. Each player takes it in turns to hit the ball, one hitting clockwise, the other anticlockwise. The tether will move up or down the spiral, dependent on the direction of the hit.
The aim of the game is to get the tether to the top or bottom of the spiral first. This Swingball is great for all ages and a wonderful way to develop hand-eye co-ordination. Get outside this summer.
Younger players can learn valuable social skills by interacting with friends and family whilst helping to promote self-expression through play. My 5 year old and (almost) 2 year old have played with this in the garden. Last week we took it to a beach party and it was a great hit with the children aged between 3 and 6ish. My little one did put his teeth into the ball so I may have to replace it at some point but I believe they can be bought separately.

I bought the swingball for my niece Holly for her 5th brirthday. Her mother says it is great and suitable for 5 year olds. Holly loves playing with it and as it is also mobile it can be taken on days out.

This was a gift for a 4 year old grand-daughter and in her thank you letter she (her mom !) wrote ....."if you'll pardon the pun, the swingball was the biggest hit of the day !"
Really practical with the integral stand. Easy to store and move in the case. Great fun and as it's adjustable, it grows with the child.
Completely separately, the way it's designed, it's really easy to wrap ! taking just over 1 sheet of standard wrapping paper.

First Swingball
Bought this for my three year old great grand-daughter. She loves it (and so does her mum) Good for developing hand-eye co-ordination as well as a lot of fun.

Very flimsy toy
This is quite a disappointing toy. The base itself is not very solid so I would suggest using sand rather than water to keep it steady. Read more

Excellent toy - lots of fun!
