What Dan tells you is how it really is - there truly are no wishy washy messages here. I have personally recommended his books to dozens of people. Kennedy shows you how to sell your product or service to difficult customers. He covers effective selling techniques, such as using testimonials and offering free products with a purchase. He emphasizes really listening to your customers because - directly or indirectly - they will tell you what they need. Although this treatise doesn't break much new ground, Kennedy offers a helpful compendium of solid sales advice. getAbstract recommends it to salespeople hoping to improve their numbers, and to service providers and professionals, from doctors to mechanics, plumbers and dog trainers, especially the ones who don't know how to sell.

I've read most of Dan's books. They are wonderful, practical and full of ideas you can put into practice immediately - and they work!

However I feel that Dan's area is direct mail - he's the master.

With this book I felt he was getting out of his depth. He is moving a lot of his old ideas into the digital age, and often his approach looks out of date.

I think either Dan should review his outlook, or stick to direct mail.

A Retitled Release of "No B.S. Sales Success"; No Info on New Economy 27 Feb. 2013

This books is essentially a reprint and retitle of the previous "No B.S. Sales Success" book. There is nothing in the book concerning websites, email, mobile computing devices, or anything at all that touches on the New Economy. In fact, even when Dan Kennedy does touch upon these subjects in his other books, he admits that he doesn't use the internet or email. To be sure, many of the "No B.S." books are great reads (particularly for the money); but please don't buy this book expecting to learn anything at all about selling in the New Economy (unless, of course, you believe, like Dan apparently does, that sales in the New Economy is no different than the Old Economy.)

No BS Sales Success in the New Economy is brilliant. I am a small business owner who is struggling to increase my sales, but I now have multiple strategies to use after reading this book. It doesn't tell you EVERYTHING step-by-step but you can fill in the blanks by reading other books or searching around the internet. He gives solid strategies, real life examples of his clients, and uses humor very often. I will definitely be reading more Dan Kennedy books ASAP! Also - it includes a free bonus to join his insider's circle for 2 months, plus more.
