It's probably fair to say that this recording will appeal more to the organ enthusiast than the general listener but for anyone who wants the repertoire this would be a good buy at twice the price. At Naxos's price it's a positive steal. Canadian organist Christiaan Teeuwsen plays the organ of the Bovenkerk, Kampen with an unhurried, unfussy musicality. Tempi tend to be leisurely and allow the music to breathe and expand naturally. The recording (produced by the redoubtable Wolfgang Rubsam) is clear and natural and does full justice to the rich and beautiful sound of the instrument. Highly recommended
