Large map of Azores

This is a fairly large (39"x54") map of the islands which make up the Archipelago of the Azores. It is a nice quality print. The title and the legend (this latter in very small prints) are translated into multiple languages, but everything else on it is in Portuguese. I was pleased to see that walking and hiking trails are shown on the map besides the roads and geographical features. Beaches, tunnels, nature preserves, and other points of interest are also marked on it. I don't know how accurate it is because I have not visited the islands yet. The only slightly disappointing thing so far is the lack of details on the main cities, which there aren't too many. I was expecting so see a more detailed map of at least Ponta Delgada. It would be helpful if the seller included a short product description on amazon. The delivery was prompt: the map arrived in excellent shape three days after I placed the order.

This fold out map was rather huge! It was quite helpful for the island of Sao Miguel. I did not travel to any of the other islands of the Azores so I am not sure how useful the other maps of the other islands were. Street signs were difficult to find but this map gave one a good idea of the layout of roads and towns and made it easy enough to get around.
