5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Show- Greatest CD! 18 Oct 2002
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
The music of the Sylvester McCoy era has its ups and downs, the ups being the music of Mark Ayres, and the downs being the music of Keff McCulloch, although it has it's own particular style...

Back to the point, this CD showcases the music from the Greatest Show In The Galaxy and is one of Mark Ayres most atmospheric and appropriate scores. Try it, I'm sure you'd like it.

3.0 out of 5 stars If you liked the music while watching the episode, get this! 9 Feb 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is one of those incidental music sound tracks that is best played while doing things. Not much of a sit down and listen CD. I personally loved the themes when I saw the episode, so the CD was an obvious buy. From ambient to mildly active, this is a calmer Doctor Who music CD. All synth sounds. 7th doctor era. More custom sounds used in this one than the other DW soundtracks by this musician. Mark Ayres does an excellent job of enriching the mood of the episode with this fine music. As incidental music should be.
