This is the first watch winder I have bought, and I am very pleased with it.
I have to say that it's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but is smartly finished and runs virtually silently. There is a choice of mode, selected by a switch on the back, and I chose the "wind for three hours (10 minutes in each direction) then rest for 9 hours" option. The inserts are easy to remove and replace and hold the watch(es) securely.
All in all a good buy at this price.

When I bought a second automatic watch I decided I would have to have a winder to ensure that they were both kept properly wound up - watchmakers say that, to avoid the lubrication congealing, it's important not to allow an automatic to be left for long in an unwound state. After searching for some time among the options for a 2-watch winder, I came across this particular model here on Amazon, and was attracted by the excellent reviews. I ordered one and was astonished to receive it only two days later - a really quick service! Moreover, it is simple to operate, looks splendid, is extremely quiet - a bonus in a bedroom - and offers a variety of winding routines. When only one watch is being wound, I can just detect a slight sound from the motor, presumably because it is dealing with an unbalanced load, but I couldn't hear that sound unless standing right next to the winder - it certainly doesn't seem to pose a problem.
I am very pleased with this purchase and strongly recommend it for anyone needing an automatic watch winder.
