A superb Hidden Mystery collection, I was totally addicted from the start of the first game, and could not wait to commence the second, it is actually quite scary in places. Highly recommended hidden object game.

This is a click and point game with a few hidden object games, a couple of which are a little different from normal.
There are also mini games which are varied and range in difficulty. Clues to the outcome of some have to be obtained in other areas. The mini games themselves are quite nice with variations on matching pairs, three in a row, solitaire and goblinjong (mah-jong).
Based as it is on a fairytale the game has a fairytale feel about it and it appears to have been made with a younger demographic in mind.
The drawings are simple but still quite good. No scene is overcrowded and whilst some actions are obvious, others are quite obscure. Also, like other games in this genre, there is a lot of coming and going through different areas.
The hints are unlimited and reload relatively quickly. For finding particular items the hints are quite good but if you are at a loss what to do next then they can be less than helpful. You may have to get on line to check the walkthrough.
Once completed a bonus level is released which consists of many goblinjong (mah-jong) boards which, as each is completed, provides a portion of the fairytale.
Awakenings 2
This second game and storyline follow on directly from the first instalment. The artwork and scenes are just as good and there are a few pleasant surprises in some of the mini games - I especially liked the ripples in the ponds as they were very well done. The pocket dragon was a nice touch too.
As with the previous game the hints are hit and miss and a visit to an online walkthrough is probably an inevitability at some points.
There seemed to be more content in this second game and it took over 5 hours to complete. As with the earlier game, bonus games are released once it is completed which consist of multiple rounds of Tripeaks (solitaire).
As a box set I would recommend it. As each game is quite short I would give them 3 stars each but overall 4 stars for the set as it is very good value for the cost. I cannot rate it at 5 stars as other reviewers have as there as many other games on the market which are far better and aimed at an older audience.
