Product Description

Product Description

A core reference for mechanics, aircraft owners, and pilots, this book compiles specifications from numerous reference books and government publications into one handy, toolbox-size reference guide. Revised to reflect current specifications, it provides mechanics with all the reference information critical to maintaining their aircrafts, including the most frequently used measurements, scales, charts, and diagrams. Topics covered in detail include metal fabrication, corrosion control, nondestructive inspection, control systems, and oxygen-system servicing. This new edition features additional information on the latest techniques in the industry, including composite materials and aircraft batteries. The stay-flat spiral binding and tabbed format facilitate quick lookups and make this a convenient and safe on-the-job reference.

This book serves two purposes. Its a good revision aid for aeronautical engineering students and a good toolbox reference book for the experienced technician. Every aircraft tech should have one!

I recently moved from Aircraft composites to Sheet Metal work and bought this for a bit of a refresher. I've found it really usefull. Its got all the key points on all the basics on all the subjects relating to Aircraft maintenance. I keep it in my desk on the the shop floor for both myself and my colleagues to refer too. If nothing else, its a good 'Nostalgia read'. Buy it, you won't regret it.

strong spiral bound allows easy access. Information is basic and never expected it to be more than a quick reference.
