I have been using these labels for a while now. I have no problems with smudging and never have. (I use an Epson R320 printer). They never jam, and the quality is excellent. The best feature of this product is they come off the sheet, quickly, easily and have an excellent clean edge unlike some cheaper cards I have tried.
The downside is thay they are not the cheapest. Still, you get what you pay for, and for the quantity I print, they represent very good value in comnparison to having them printed for me.
With Amazon free delivery I think they are an excellent buy.

We buy these double sided cards to supplement our standard business cards ... if we want to promote a product or event, and being double sided, you can get a reasonable amount of info on them.

At 260g the cards are pretty reasonable quality and the bane of many self-print cards has always been the edges ... these break very cleanly, and in no time at all, you get a good pile of professional looking cards.

I had no problem at all printing them on my Canon inkjet printer ... although I would not recommend using Duplex mode ... we tried, and it was a bit of a faff.

Dyring was good (we do use manufacturers cartridges, and there was no evidence of smudging.

All in all, and for this price ... very good. Perhaps a point off for not being quite as easy to break apart as they used to be.

I'm setting up a new business and the business cards I had ordered didn't arrive in time for me to take to a supplier trade show. I couldn't find a business card machine locally but then saw this pack in Staples so thought I would give it a go. I designed a card reasonably quickly with the online design system that Avery offer, although I didn't really like the software. The choice of templates was very disappointing but I found two designs that would do at a pinch. There is some flexibility in the designs such as changing colour or adding images, either your own or from a limited Avery gallery.

Once I got to something that I was happy with as a temporary measure I printed them off. The biggest disappointment was that the colour rendering on the printed card was very different to that on-screen. The printer I was using was high quality, with new ink and it normally produces photos which are accurately rendered so I don't think the problem is the printer. The other problem was that the coloured infill on the reverse of the cards didn't actually fill the printed card. I revised the design changing the accent colour to a lime green (instead of the soft green I had originally used which came out a sort of mustard-y gold colour). At the same time I extended the coloured area on the back of the design outside the edges of the card. This version again produced a colour different to that on-screen but actually very close to what I wanted, and the back of the card was also properly filled.

On the positive side, I had no problems with the paper jamming and the cards were aligned correctly. I left a couple of minutes between printing the front and back faces and did not experience any issues with smudging. I know Avery offer 200g cards as well but these 260g cards are still rather flimsy.

I believe these cards are the heaviest ones you can get. The Avery website rates them at 260gsm. Don't even think of running them through a printer without a straight through paper path: if you bend them around a curve you're in for a world of hurt, jams, or cards snapping off and breaking stuff as they feed through. Inkjets with a rear feed and front output will do fine - my Canon Pixma iP4700 has no trouble. I set it to Ink Jet Hagaki whatever that is.

As far as results go, these matt cards hold ink well. The margins are generous so you can 'bleed' ink off the edges if that's what your designs call for.

I normally use cheaper own-brand cards and I think I'll be going back to those in future - these Avery ones were a costly disappointment. They're not quick drying; they smeared even after I left them to stand, and when printed both sides they left ink on the printer roller. They did leave clean edges when broken out of the sheet, but I had to discard half of them.

We print our own business cards and these are great. The only problem we keep having is tracking them down.

Easy to use and create a professional image for your business. Print as and when you need them rather than buying 250 in one go.

Very difficult to use the online stuff to create the cards, couldn't line it up and ended up ordering the whole thing ready done as not enough time to faff with this
