Product Description

Technical problems can cause us all a headache at times. It’s awful when you’ve spent so much time creating documents only to lose the data further down the line. Make sure important information isn’t lost by using these custom inserts to clearly identify your products. You can save documents on a disc, but how do you know what’s on each disc? Simply use a CD case insert.

It takes no time to create printed CD cover insert that are clear and easy to read. This is better than trying to read handwriting and looks incredibly professional. These CD case inserts cover the surface of a CD case.

Avery's Data Media Labels range wants to help organise the way you store data, making it easier and more recognisable. Each CD case insert can be customised to the way you want. Alternatively, use one of the many free templates Avery have uploaded to our website, it is incredibly easy to do. Pick a template or a design, input your messages and then simply print. All of your data labels could be completed in quick time.

We provide the flexibility to keep costs down as users of these cd case inserts can produce as little or as many as they want. You can even personalise every single CD case insert to make your organisation a lot easier. These product labels have a print-to-the-edge feature that allows a full colour background to enhance your title and message to really stand out from the crowd.

I have a template that I set up about 5 years ago, using Avery AfterBurner software, which I use to make presentation photo-CDs for client's of my husband's photographic business. Avery offer some ready-to-use designs as downloads from their website, but it's easy to be creative with their simple, free download software.

Avery used to market several CD case inserts, but this is now the only one that seems to be available.
The insert(s) are set out on good quality A4 card. Each card will provide 2 fronts or 1 back+front. The card has a matte finish, which accepts my high-quality digital image plus graphics, printed with a modestly priced Canon photo-printer.

Once printed ( leave the card to dry out for half an hour or so) the perforated edges of the A4 card can be folded, then gently torn away leaving a remarkably neat edge and the insert fits into a CD case with no bother at all.

This is useful and good quality stationery.

Over the years, a number of CD insert products have come and gone, and Avery themselves have changed back and forth. It's a great shame that they no longer produce trays and front covers/booklets in separate packages, but for all that they remain the best for quality and ease of use.

By folding at the perforations one way and then the other 9/10 perforations fall apart like well cooked meat off a bone. The last perforation requires a tear so is no different to regular peroration. It's this ease of separating the waste form the product that has me buying this product every time.

The Cd inserts are good with a reasonable thickness and well defined and easily separated covers and backs.

The templates take a bit of getting used to as the text is in a table and any colours or pictures are on the box behind. This is only a real problem on back where the text is a right angles so you can read it but does not cover the whole of the text box. It may be my printer but it does not always print the background colour.

I have used these labels before many times without any problems. This latest pack however contained sheets which were incorrectly printed. This resulted in the printing crossing the perforation lines,so useless for the job.HOWEVER,when I contacted Avery their customer service was first class, and they sent me a new pack at no charge. So you might just want to check the inserts before printing, that they are correctly aligned,un-like me!!!!
