I purchased the Optimum releases for all the earlier Avengers series. I wasn't over impressed with the visual and audio quality, but put this down to the age of the material. The optimum packaging, apart from the first/second series box which contained a superb review of all the missing series one episodes, was basic on all other sets. when I got round to buying series five I read the reviews which seemed to indicate it was even worse than the previous Optimum series. Therefore, I thought I'd give this Netherlands release a try instead. The picture and sound quality are alright here although the packaging is basic. Additionally, the subtitles are in Dutch but that's only a problem if you are hard of hearing. At half the price of the Optimum release this has got to be a better buy.
