This one amazing story and I cannot recommend it enough! The artwork is absolutely beautiful and breathtakingly detailed but that is only the least important of many excellent things. The most important thing is that IT MATTERS! For X-Men, Avengers and the entire Marvel Universe, this story is of tremendous importance, as it deals with the search for the Scarlet Witch and what to do with her when they do, along with a dangerous threat posed by Dr. Doom. But the story in a strange way is more focused on the emotion of the whole thing, from the anger of the X-Men, to the desperation of the Magneto and Quicksilver to find and protect their beloved family member, to each and every one of the Young Avengers going through one emotional turmoil or another, this story never forgets its characters. Add to this a well-structured and paced plot and the fact that pretty much every major Marvel character gets involved at some point and one has a truly extroadinary and epic comic to bring to an end the whole Wanda Maximoff's madness arc.

Children's Crusade tells the story of the Young Avengers on Billy's quest to find the Scarlet Witch. They need to keep ahead of the Avengers and X-men who want Wanda - but not necessarily for the same reasons as Billy. The story starts well, but comes apart at the end, however, the art is so pretty, I don't mind.
I wish they'd had interviews with the writer and the artist as context for the story, but that's just a minor quibble.
