I agree completely with the previous reviewer. After weeks of eczema on my left eyelid, it spread to my cheekbones, and was so angry and red that my husband refused to go out with me: he said that it looked as if he'd been beating me! Nothing seemed to work, but after just one application of this cream, my cheeks started to calm down, and together with Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream, I am hopeful that I will begin to look normal soon :)

I love this cream, it's my one and only saviour after trying everything. I have sensitive, dry skin, that is prone to spots but not overly sensitive. My skin was appearing dry and wrinkled and no matter how many dry skin creams I used, I could not get moisture back, in fact I just got more spots and more dryness. Then I started using this recovery cream, and within a week, my skin looked normal again, with a normal balance of moisture. This is not to say that my skin wasn't dry at all any longer, but it was only a little dry, calmed down, no spots, and much more moisture. I would have never realised that just getting that balance back again is more important than drowning skin with expensive and heavy creams for dry skin. My only problem, is that the tube lasts me about 3 weeks, and I wish it lasted longer ! I also advise that you use an eye cream for the evening, and, ensure that you use the Avene cleanser/toner - this product won't work if you are drying your skin out with cheap nasty facewash products.
