For people who are allergic to all "normal", ie chemical sun protectors, this is a god's gift. Easy enough to apply for a mineral filter, and does what it's supposed to. Tested on a pale and allergic skin on Tenerife :-) And you do get a tan as well.

I have very intolerent skin (face only) so I decided to give this a try and while it works against any kind of rays getting you, it looks absolutely terrible. It was like wearing heaps and heaps of foundation (same colour). I looked like a ghost sitting in my back garden - it's a mask. Had to laugh though and as for taking it off, well, it seemed to take forever. Maybe I just used too much. I want something that doesn't show, and something that I can apply easily. This felt too thick and hard to spread around - if you get what I mean - stogie, thick. Pulled your skin and I don't need that.

I have needed a non-chemical high factor sunscreen for many years. The withdrawal of Sun E45 SPF 50 from production was a devastating blow. After a lot of (very expensive & uncomfortable) rials & searching I have discovered Avene SPF50 mineral sunscreen - brilliant, does the job + no peeling, Avene Very High Protection Mineral Cream SPF 50 For Tolerance Skin - 50mlreddened, painful skin. Wonderful! Thanks.
