Why is Avatar - the definitive 3d film - not available to buy in bluray 3d?

Takeone says:
It was an exclusive Blu Ray licenced to Panasonic as part of the bundle with their 3D TVs. They had the exclusive availabilty until 2012 That's why a 3D version on Blu Ray of Avatar were selling between £40 - £100 on Ebay. However, wait, as Avatar will be released on Blu Ray 3D in 2012, probably available with the extended version in 3D too within the set.

Thanks Takeone. I shall wait more patiently now that I know that it is coming next year. I appreciate you letting me know.
