Clicking 'install' on the splash screen that comes up after loading the CD leads to a 'create self-booting diskette' page.
Read the manual, (it'll be on the screen), to learn how to use SecurErase. Luckily it's easy and straightforward, (unlike many).
SecurErase is a breeze to use. Boot from the CD or floppy disk and choose whether to have a Government erasure, (most secure), or a standard one. Either way it gets rid of all data from your hard drive which you won't be able to recover so remember to backup first.
It won't support USB or firewire drives.
It's good if you want to sell your PC and don't want traces of your infomation passed on as well.
