SAVE YOUR MONEY! 24 Jun 2003
Any GSP software I have previously bought has contained sufficient errors to render it more useless than useful.

The Times Money Organiser cannot be relied upon. In essence, the software is simple and easy to use. If only it did what it was supposed to do! Any changes to transfers are likely to see the wrong entry changed in the "destination account". Standing orders simply cannot be relied upon. Sometimes it enters them, sometimes it doesn't. I've even had a standing order that transferred funds from one account to another (eg when you pay a credit card bill): the debit was in the source account, but no credit - for 2 months running, even though it worked fine previously and afterwards.

Finally, if you work in accounts, this will have you confused. Debits deduct from the balance and credits add to it! I know this is how it appears on the bank statement, but remember they owe you money! If your account is overdrawn, debits add to the balance and credits deduct, just like any other bill! Not so in this software: as stated, they've mixed them up - albeit a common mistake!

Worth finding an alternative - but would rate it 4 or 5 if it worked!
