I was quite excited to use this but soon found I was getting frustrated. It's easy to use but the plant lists are very strange. For hedgeing they don't even have Privet but they do have cactus and lots of different types of simple plants like petunia. Surely a red one is a red one when dealing with this basic stage. I had to improvise with several objects like there is no compost bin so I used a well instead.
Perhaps a little more thought would have gone down better, if anything it has made me think about buying a bigger version but an addon package would do just as well.

I found this a most frustrating program to use it is not well thought out. The program does not give any insight as to how it is to be utilized. I have had this product for over 1 year and though I keep returning back to it for another go I never get any further than drawing a basic outline. There should be a booklet with it to give examples of how to progress from basic steps. I would not recommend this program to anyone as it is to say the least user aggressive

I have used this software to actually plan my front garden and the design held up and enabled me to select plants that I had no knowledge of. It enabled me to plan a colour scheme through the year so that I have constant colour from Feb to Nov. The planning tool is very basic with very few icons to add and my main comment for improvement would be that when you print out the design the plan names should be on the print out or linked by a coded list. What you have to do is link the picture with the plant shopping list by hand- not that helpful before a trip to the garden centre. But for a cheap piece of software to see if this sort of thing is for you I would recommend it.
