On receipt I installed the software and updated it as requested. When I tried to validate it a pop-up informed me that the serial number was invalid and/or I had exceeded the licensed number of installations. As this was my first and only installation and I used the serial number provided on the disk envelope you can understand my annoyance which was further increased when Avanquest failed to respond to my e-mail requesting help.Expert PDF 7 (PC)

I confirm problem with serial number below. The program shuts in a second or two. It worked for a couple of days and does not work with a number of pdf files I have tried. No response from Avanquest to my emails. The link to their FAQ on their web site does not work. The have either gone bust or are just a shower. AVOID.

Whilst I didn't have the serial number problem, I certainly have other 'issues' with this software. Bluntly, this software is appalling. It has great difficulty converting 'Word' files to .pdf. I regularly as part of my work convert word documents to .pdf, with this software anything above 3 pages is a real no, no. It converts the first page but all others are blank. Images? forget it. HTML files? only if you are prepared to re-start the program after every conversion. It puts little menus in some programs, don't know why they rarely work.
All in all a waste of money.
