I was pleasantly surprised by the number of useable fonts available in this collection. I have purchased a couple of font collections in the past, and have been disappointed by the number of trashy fonts that look like they were designed by a suicidal maniac on drugs. These are better!

I've downloaded lots of free fonts in the past, and hoped this would boost my collection, but it was fairly disappointing. It's more like clipart than the downloadable fonts I've used, and although there are a lot of great headlines, you'd be hard pressed to use more than one or two ever, as they are very specfic. Also, this software has an American lifestyle bias, and this limits it's British usefulness.

i brought this 7 years ago or so, but its still important today. The fonts are all a bit off the beaten path. Nothing bad about that, but it doesnt have mainstream stuff like arial or Times etc. thats because there are expensive licensing charges associated with it. But it does have every font you could need for graphics apps. The main benefit is that they are always there. For example, i have built a few graphics with fonts that were native to either the version of Windows I was on or Publisher. Then i got a new computer and the fonts were gone, and i couldnt find them. Thats a problem if your updating graphics for clients. With this disk you can choose fonts that you can always find again in the future. Major advantage.
