i have used this in reverse, two amps into one set of speakers, which is ideal as you can turn one channel off before turning the other on, but on seperate switches so there is no chance of any leak, works really well and far better then a unit with a single switch as stops leaks, brilliant product.

Bought this for my son to separate music, if necessary in two parts of a pub, or have four speakers playing. Simple wiring up, simple operation and no trace of bleeding through when one set of speakers turned off. For the price, the construction is solid and it works well!!!

A well made item - but not 5 stars as the connectors at the back are minute and not suitable for heavy or even normal gauge speaker wire. The item took a while to arrive (I should have double checked the delivery times) which meant my little audio project had to wait for a few days for this thing to arrive.

There are some clips (Ixos XS216 Gold Plated Speaker Pin Terminals - Pack of 4) available on Amazon which you will need if your speaker wire is thicker than a human hair.

Hooked this up to a set of outdoor speakers and also a set indoors. Connected to the AMP . There is noticeable sound bleed when running the outdoor speakers you can here the indoor ones also. IF you just select indoor the outside ones are fine. Also if you speaker cable is thicker than a human hair you wont be able to put the cables in the back...

I read the somewhat mixed review's but decided "how much of an issue can 2 switch's have?".... I then found out!
Switch operation is unreliable, soon after connecting it up I found that both switch's started to work intermittently one more so than the other... I also started to get "bleed through" as indicated by other purchasers.
On the bases of the cost I decided not to return the item, but to open it up and find out what the issue was.
What I found was "tack" solder joints i.e. not mechanically sound, permanent links across the switch's between speakers and 2 resistor bypassing one of the switch's. All of which tie in with the problems other people are reporting.
My recommendation, particularly if you have a sensitive amplifier, is to steer well clear of this product.
I suspect the supplier is supplying these items in good faith on the basis that they do what's stated, so I don't have an issue with the supplier at all.
But I do believe this is a shoddy item that puts equipment at risk.
( I've rewired mine correctly with 2 proper isolating switch's and all working fine now )

Put the first two wires in fine by the time I got to the third the part of the back where the wires go in fell in. I managed to screw it back together but it was two late the damage was done.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone wish I took more notice of the other one star reviews.

I bought the unit to run two amplifiers to the same set of speakers. I would have preferred a single switch but since it is actually designed for a single amp to two sets of speakers it makes sense there would be two switches allowing you to use both sets simultaneously.

The first time I used to the unit the left channel was not working. I was intending to send it back but decided to open the lid since there was no tamper stickers in place. I discovered one of the soldered wires had disconnected itself and had to re-solder it. I think this is pretty bad considering the unit was brand new. It's very cheap for the price but not that robust. I am happy with it, though.

Doesn't work as advertised. I tried to find out why with a test meter and even the 'good' contacts have unacceptably high resistance. With 8 ohm speakers (as most are) you can't afford to have much resistance in the switches if you don't want to impact the sound quality. You'd normally expect the resistance to measure as under 0.1 ohms, but one of the switches measures over 2 ohms - more than 20 times higher than it should. I can see now why some of the other reviewers report sound leaking from one set to the other, if this is in any way typical.
