I bought this to go in our campervan for our trip round Europe this summer. Imagine if we'd been robbed and the satnav stolen!
This safe holds our Tom Tom 910, mount, an iPod and at a push passports and credit cards. Our van doesn't have an alarm and would have been pretty easy to break into. There is a security cable that connects to the safe and you can loop this around a seat or in our case, the safe fitted neatly into the glove box and looped around a steel tube inside. Definitely worth the piece of mind.

Whilst this unit is not that large, I can just about juggle a TomTom, iPod, mobile phone and four passports inside it which is all that I need protected.

The safe and the cable both seem strongly made but ultimate security obviously depends on having a good anchor point in your car.

Mine sits permanently in the boot of my car, it takes seconds to put valuables inside it and, although I haven't needed it's protection yet, it's given me peace of mind when leaving stuff inside the car.
