First off, ignore the inaccurate Amazon plot synopsis - after a car accident, a group of teens are whisked to a nearby hospital by a strangely convenient ambulance. One by one they're called to be seen, and gradually the cast begin to suspect that something wierd may be going on at the isolated hospital...
Robert Patrick's amusing as the mysterious Dr Benway in charge, and while the characters are dumb as fence-posts (especially one who believes an offer to get high from what might be the world's dodgiest looking hospital porter), it's interesting and filmed well enough to remain enjoyable. There's an attempt at a sickly desaturated colour scheme to heighten the atmosphere, and it has some tension. There's also an impressive attempt at some unusual gore. Not amazing, but enjoyably worth sitting through.

Kinda regret spending the money on this, it really wasn't a very good storyline, needless gore and really annoyingly stupid acting . . . The ending STILL makes absolutely no sense to me, I just hope they aren't leaving it open for a sequel . . . one was enough!

Gory But Okay. 3 Oct 2009
Format:DVD
Watched this last night, yes it's gory in places and had a werid ending but it was okay. Plot is a group of young people have a acident that leaves one of them seriously injured, a mysterious amberlance comes to pick them up and take them to Mercy Hosptail in the middle of nowhere. As one by one is taken to see the top doctor to ask questions about themselves, they don't realise that they won't be leaving alive. Considering it's low budget and has unknown names apart from Robert Patrick who was the awesome villain in Terminator 2, it wasn't terrible and it's wasn't brilliant. I thought it was going to be seriously gory all the time but it does have it's moments and a warning for people who don't like blood or guts stay away from this one. The ending finished a bit weridly but I leave it to you to decide, worth it for gory horror fans out there.
