I haven't really had a chance to read it all yet but I have flicked through the book and it looks amazing and very inspiring for anyone interested in self-portrait photography as it includes work of a lot of practitioners. I'm about to write an essay about why people choose to photograph themselves and this has been recommended to me. It was definitely a good buy!

Very interesting and useful for my dissertation. Would recommend especially for academics. As you can probably tell by the title, this book regards the more contemporary self-portraits with little about the history of self-portraiture.
