This is a very well thought out and researched book, with beautiful illustrations. Every recipe has been carefully tested and chosen for authenticity. I love the fact that it's not just recipes, it includes the history and the "romance" of the food. It is far more than a recipe book, it's a little travelogue and a history of the cuisine which really makes it all come alive - you can almost taste the food in the descriptions before you even start to cook!
A great read and now an indispensable part of my collection!
