Having used DK guides in the past this was a bit of a disappointment. Arriving in Innsbruck by train I found that there was no streetmap to show the way from the station, and I had to purchase one separately. The amount of info was at best limited. The "Rough Guide" was much more informative and more use. Sorry DK this is not one of your best guides.

We've used many of these guides for various countries and the clear, easy to use format never disappoints. Our recent tour of the Alps was planned on the hoof with this and the sister Germany and Switzerland books.
Everything from cutaways of places of interest to suggesting a wide price range of hotels and places to eat, right through to the often stunning photography, they are hard working, heard wearing companions on any trip where you want to increase your local knowledge without struggling through pages and pages of seemingly worthy text.
