These have 40% extra Kevlar lining than other brands on the market, theextra Kevlar is in the hip area and down along shin area, they are Kevlar towel lined in complete back side area, hip area, and knee and shin area The Technical Stuff Kevlar? is a soft knitted non-abrasive material and is comfortable against the skin. The fabric is unique in construction and offers breathability and flexibility. The material itself is designed to dissipate heat quicklyand distribute air evenly through the fibres. Kevlar? is a man made fibre, which offers incredible protection against abrasion, cuts and heat. Five times stronger than steel pound for pound, flame resistant up to 400 degrees Celsius and exceptionally cut and slash resistant. Kevlar? in various forms is used in ropes that tie up ships, clothing worn by saw-millers, fire-fighters, glass handlers andair force pilots, tank armour, aeroplane wings and lightweight canoes. Probably the best known is the production of bullet proof vests! Although constructed in a different way (lets face it who wants to wear a bullet proof vest on their arse!) The knitted Kevlar fabric cannot be easily ripped, torn or damaged in any way apart from manually cutting with scissors and the like.

Size Name:42 Short
Decided to buy after looking in various bike shops, thought they would be cheaper from Amazon but as always when buying online there is concern as to what you will get. Well I can say the Jeans are terrific quality and fit and I am really pleased with them. It makes riding the bike (a Goldwing) much more enjoyable than with leathers or waterproof fabrics, I would be happy to recommend them to anybody who is willing to listen.

protection seems ok just about - not for serious riding though , fit is a bit like 80's spandex, tight on the leg and baggy on the waist, i am 32W 32L jean size, i got 32R in these and they were a bit short and too tight on the leg for my liking.
Size Name:36 Short
Very comfortable and practical. Saves carrying changes of clothing because they are (just about) passable as everyday jeans. I don't intend to check how they perform when I fall off.
