Australia the Hard Way, an amazing journey in Wooden Drascombe Lugger. 30 Mar. 2014
By Doug from Plymouth UK - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I can thoroughly recommend the book as a good read. An amazing journey in a Wooden Drascombe Lugger, a small open sailing boat. Quite probably the longest journey ever undertaken in a boat of this type, a journey that would not be possible today because of the political problems in various parts of the World. David Pyle is an excellent sailor and navigator, but without the accolades that have been given to others who have a well managed publicity machine. This book with the dust cover as shown was a very low print edition of only 1,000 copies, so it's a rare edition to obtain, there was a book club reprint which has a different dust cover, but it too was a very low print number.

Enthralled , I think this is the book I have been looking for since the late 70's. I borrowed it from a library and have been unable to find a copy since.
