"Aurora" is A. Reynolds' "The Prefect" in German, obviously listed within this category by accident.

Ehrlich gesagt möchte ich allen Lesern empfehlen, Reynolds Bücher lieber im Original zu lesen - "Aurora" fällt in der deutschen Übersetzung ziemlich hinter das Niveau zurück, das der Autor an den Tag legt. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es ein gewaltiges Buch: ein veritabler Krimi der "schwarzen Reihe", spannend, mitreissend bis zur letzten Seite, auf dem Schauplatz eines Gürtels aus tausenden verschiedener Orbitalstationen über dem Planeten Yellowstone (aus dem Chasm City Universum).

Reynolds ist einer der wenigen, der die Gedanken einer Zukunftsvision ernst nimmt und ihr mehr Substanz verleiht als mancher hochrealistische Nicht-SF-Autor seinen Werken. Auch wenn es sich relativ schnell offenbart, wer in dieser Geschichte der "Täter" ist, bleibt das schiere Universum faszinierend - und die Lösung des Problems spannend bis zur allerletzten Seite.

I actually read the English version, which is called The Prefect, and that is a great book. Unfortunately my German is a little rusty, so I returned this one.

AURORA is the GERMAN version of The Prefect! 10 Aug 2010

Buying this book was a real bummer...since German is not my favorite language. I'm now trying to find some german people to give it to, but haven't succeeded yet.
The Prefect is a really good story, by the way!
