2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't go the distance., 8 May 2008

Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
My teenaged daughter likes the Aurora clock when it works, but unfortunately it doesn't work for very long. Her first one lasted for about a year before giving up, and the second one lasted a little longer, and now that one won't work either. When it works it's a great little clock, changing colour every hour. If my daughter woke in the night, she would know roughly what time it was simply by what colour the body of the clock was. I will buy her another one because I'm that kind of dad, but this will definitely be the last. When this one goes the same way as the other two it'll be time for a change.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun clock but doesn't last long...., 24 Jun 2008

Have also had 2 of these clocks - great fun to have with the colour changing every hour. First one lasted 10 months and the second only 6 months - the LCD face goes blank and there is no more colour changing. Wish they lasted longer!

4.0 out of 5 stars I like it a lot!, 21 Oct 2008
By Metalguru "Paul" (Sutton Coldfield) - See all my reviews
Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Great for a bit of mood lighting, great for checking the time in the middle of the night. Date, time and alarm - what more do you need.... Well it hasn't got a snooze option and the alarm isn't very loud. However if you can live without this, get one!

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks OK but no good as an alarm
The alarm is far too quiet - think old Casio watch 'beep beep' sound and level. All well and good having lights, but needs to cover the basics!

I threw mine away.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't last long
Bought it for my 6 yr old daughter who liked it. Lasted 9 months or so, until the mains connection became unreliable and it kept cutting out. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic.
This little alarm clock is fantastic! When the clock flashes every hour, you know the time. It's easy to keep track of the time without even looking.
