About the Author
Terry Oleson is an internationally known lecturer in the field of auriculotherapy. Receiving his PhD in Psychobiology form the University of California at Irvine in 1973, he went on to do pioneering research on auricular diagnosisand auriculotherapy at the UCLA Pain Management Centre in Los Angeles. Besides being the author of numerous scientific articles, Dr Oleson is the Chair of the Department of Psychology and the Division of Behavioral Medicine at theCalifornia Graduate Institute. Dr Oleson also serves on the faculty of Emperor's College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and as President of the Centre for Oriental Medicine research and Education (COMRE).

if your after a complete manual of auricular acupuncture, it contains all that you could want to know. it gives equal credance to both the chinese and european systems and in fact his charts contain both systems combined together. i highly recommend this book. simply put, This is the only book you need buy on this subject!

This is the most comprehensive text I have come across in the field of Ear Acupuncture. Full of historical and descriptive information, it gives the reader a clear overview of this treatment intervention. Content is empirically based and it has the most comprehensive review of the literature in this field. An essential text for those studying or practising Ear Acupuncture. I strongly recommend it...

I bought this book to help me to learn more about a subject that interests me, but in which I had minimal training. It is quite complex, and bears more than one reading to begin to develop an inkling of understanding. Point location and the grid system is much more complicated than Nogier's inverted foetus -> upright man with which I am more comfortable, but I am willing to keep trying to understand.
