2.0 out of 5 stars no improvements from aura 1, 27 Jul 2009

Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Aura 2: The Sacred Rings (PC) I hoped I would like this game but although the graphics are good, it is still rigid in what it expects you to do. The music is like the last game repetitive and not really related to the action, so irritating. I cannot even get far in the game as the next point will not happen even though I have done everything right, though maybe not in the order expected, which has twice frozen the game. Games should be more flexible than this. The character Umang has undergone a makeover whilst being transported to this land and is different to the demo online pages, and looks worse than he did before in game one. Also the puzzles are contrived. Why would anyone in a ship design lockable doors that could only be opened by ploughing all the way down to the engine room to change the controls every time you wanted to open a different door? Daft and very disappointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good beginers game if you have played the previous one., 14 Sep 2007

Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
I like this type of game, point and click. Quite linear but some good puzzles. The main problem is that if you do something out of sequence the dialogue can be quite confusing as the programme assumes that you have done something and you may still need to do an intermediate action. Also if you are absolutly sure that you have to do something you may find that the object you need is not there until you do some thing else which is quite confusing.
