Product Description
August DA110CD is a multi-functional personal entertainment centre. It is LCD TV, digital Freeview TV receiver, digital radio receiver, high quality tablet DVD player with slot-in disc loader, media player from SD/MS/MMC memory cards and from an external hard disc via USB port, digital photo displayer and widescreen (16:9) high resolution monitor (800x480 pixels) for other media player or a game console. With stylish state-of-the-art design, outstanding picture and sound quality and user friendly features. It becomes an ideal TV and media player for kitchen, bedroom, caravan, boat and travelers.
It can also be connected to a larger screen to output TV, video and digital photos to your home TV.
Please note that there may be difficulty to receive Freeview TV signal by the included portable antenna in some areas where the signal is not sufficiently strong at present. This is due to that the Freeview service (www.freeview.co.uk) in the UK is yet full power broadcasting to support portable TV antenna at present. The reception will be improving along with the progress of Digital Switchover Program (http://www.digitaltelevision.gov.uk). A signal amplifier or booster may improve reception capability in regions where the signal is marginally strong. (Please note that reception capability may also be affected by various factors such as proximity to Freeview TV/digital radio transmitters, tall building structures, thick walls, ceilings and etc.). A rooftop TV aerial may be required to watch Freeview channels in regions where the signal is insufficient for a portable antenna.
