J. Guenther says:
Hi there,

i just wanted to have a look, if the game had already been dispatched, and by accident i saw, that the "this box includes"-Part has changed silently (resp. there are 2 different parts now).

The first (old) part says:
======================
Box Contains:
Additional in-game content:
Exclusive mission
Multi-shot grenade launcher
Double-barrel shotgun
Silenced sniper rifle
Remote-detonated explosive device
Automatic unlocking device
10,000 extra credits to buy or upgrade weapons

Exclusive bonus DVD featuring:
44-minute making of
Game soundtrack
Motion comic, adapted from DC's official comic series
E3 trailer and animated storyline

40-page art book
======================

Now, the second (new) part says:
======================
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition Includes:
Bonus Mission
In-Game Automatic Unlocking Device
In-Game M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED)
In-Game Linebacker G-87 Multiple Shot Grenade Launcher
In-Game 10,000 Extra Credits to Buy or Upgrade Weapons
In-Game Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun
In-Game SERSR Longsword Whisperhead Silenced Sniper Rifle
"Making Of" DVD
======================

Now i'm totally confused... no Art-Book? No Soundtrack? That was the reason for ordering that edition... :-( Does anyone knows something about that "change"? Or do i get something wrong?

Damn, i cant remember a game, causing so much confusion to the peoples, like DE:HR did resp. still does... Hm, maybe this is part of the marketing-strategy...

V. Vasilca says:
I'm confused as well, and rather worried now. If we don't get the artbook, which should be a part of every Augmented Edition, regardless of region or preorder incentives, then something's gone wrong. Hasn't anyone received their Augmented Editions already? It would be nice if we got some confirmation.

Hi, see my post above.

On that note, my order status has changed to "dispatching soon". As I've learned in the past, Amazon are not the greatest at day one releases (especially when it comes to big releases such as this).

J. Guenther says:
Mr. James... see my post -the first- too. I know what other sites say and i know too that amazon has TWO different descriptions. That is exactly the reason WHY i ask. Because the "smaller", new one, is different from what was told to be included. You qouted the same part as me...

I think V. Vasilca is right, the only way to find out is to wait until someone gets it in his hand.

Val says:
I don't think there are different augmented editions, it's probably just an error in the description :)

Yea got a email notification from Amazon that 'Augmented' (PC) was available at a store at £59 what a total rip off. Good grief now gamesdirect are charging £102.01 in delivery for a £45 max game. Extortion or what!
