Format: Hardcover
I found this to be an interesting look both at the existing practices of looking at, reviewing and using photographs, and of the use of sounds to accompany photos. It is, as you would expect, an academic review of literature and research and so probably would not engage a casual reader. For anyone with research interests in areas like HCI and CSCW, however, and particularly for anyone with an interest in developments in digital media, new generation mobile telephony and so on it provides a detailed and fascinating look at the issues that might relate to their use in the future.
