Christian Kansas 8 Aug 2011
Format:Audio CD
This was Kansas' first Christian album. I think they made pretty good job. It seems that I can find gospel on Kerry Livgren's songs. "Relentless", "Hold On", "Curtain of Iron", and "No One Together" have a strong message. They are also great musically. Also "Anything for You" and "Got to Rock On" are awesome. No, this is not as great as "Leftoverture" but defintely better than "Point of Know Return".

Most Kansas fans would put Leftoverture and Point Of No Return as their best recordings and I would put Vinyl Confessions above this one too, so where does that leave Audio-Visions?
Well this is the album where Kerry Livgren first put his newly found Christian faith into songs including Relentless, Hold On and No One Together.
Steve Walsh, lead singer and also songwriter, contributes Got To Rock On, No Room For A Stranger and Back Door.
It's the former I have an affinity with and therefore find more attractive.
So while this may not be a classic album, Kansas fans are likely to want add it to their collection.
