Once again delirious have turn out an impressive album of stunning music and insightful lyrics. The first five tracks are glorious, ranging from the euphoria of 'Waiting for the Summer', to fabulous rock of 'alien', via the gorgeous 'love is the compass' and beautiful, yet fragile 'Angel in Disguise'. It has to be said after this the standard drops somewhat, but not to the extent where it is bad, just mearly very good.Producer Charles Zwicky has made engineered an album that sounds completely contemporary and has the necessary commercial buzz. As for the hundreds of Christians out there screaming 'sell-outs', they have not sold out, delirious are just following their dream, making amazing music and standing up for whats right in a confused world.

I was a bit dubious when i bought this after hearing mixed reviews from various people, but i wasn't disappointed at all! Whilst delirious? have taken a different angle on this album all the songs are enjoyable and varied, from the 'pop' waiting for the summer..to the rockin 'show me heaven' i thoroughly enjoyed this album. Take me away is a fantastic song as well! The boys have strayed away from the worship songs that were on 'glo' yet a positive message still comes firmly through and they never compromise their faith on the album, both christians and non-christians alike will enjoy this album despite its differences to previous releases.

Another great album by delirious. Waiting for the summer is a great song and is really cheerful, something like Beach Boys put to rock music or something. However, this song is alone in being cheerful, the rest are more sad and thoughtful but nethertheless great. My favourites are Love is the Compass, Alien and America. The guitar parts are particularly good in these songs. Then theres A little love (was this one done with the Beatles- 'all u need is love'!?) Anyway GET THIS ALBUM, it is well worth it! Just cos you may not have heard of delirious doesn't mean they are no good. As some people have already said in reviews here, if a band such as Travis released something like this it would shoot straight to the top. You've got to admire these guys- they are capable of being 'up there with the best' but choose to stay relatively unkown but doing what God wants.

Don't fault it for not being a worship album
While Delirious? has become the standard bearer for the 90s/21st century worship bands, this is not supposed to be a worship album, so don't expect one. Read more
