This is a great book!

The chapters are laid out good, so that you'll get good knowledge of the decibelsystem
and the human hearing system, before diving in deep into microphones and amplifiers.
It's a good book to start with if you've studied sound tech on a low scale, and
want to dive in to the material, or if you are a sound engineer who just want to
refresh your memory and at the same time learning something new.

Althou, if you already are into advanced audio, I recomend some of the
other Douglas Self books. The guy really know what he is talking about.

I recomend this book to anyone who's into sound and sound technology!
