Format:DVD
This is indeed a must buy for people who consider themselves students of politics, logic, public service, or humanity. Tony Benn is at his devastating best: As always he exudes charisma and speaks with utomst passion and conviction. He relies on simple down to earth logic to disect complex issues like the War in Iraq, Political Service, Nuclear Proliferation, Monarchy, European Union. Employing simple language, he breaks down these issues, chews them over for his audience and then presents with ultimate clarity and refreshingly moral and bold perspective.
The highlight of this lecture (and indeed of Tony's career)is the mastery, and wit with which he puts on the agenda issues which unfortunately are irrelevant for our governments however mean everything to the common masses.
I have watched this DVD at least 5 times already and each time it forces me to evaluate issues in my life against often ignored moral benchmarks. This is a collectors item with brilliant sound clarity.

Format:VHS Tape
Bought tears to my eyes....what a hero, why don't they make politicians with his level of commitment and idealsim anymore? Witty and full of wonderful Bennisms as always. Can't recommend it enough! He is definitely one of my guests at my imaginary best dinner party ever....I'd even serve tea and vegetarian food!
