Format:Audio CD
Sabaton's follow up to the amazing album "Primo Victoria" comes at you with the force saddly lacking in todays run of the mill post production polished pop metal.
Yes this is old school metal! The kind of metal that makes you remember why you hate radio one so much! This is the kind of album that makes you want to get out the old leather jacket, the fading black t-shirt and that studded belt you have hiding in the back of the cupboard!
When you listen to this album if you don't want to bang your head against the wall until one of you falls over, then stick to your Bon Jovi albums!

Latin title? Check. Chanted choral vocals? Check. Delibarately misspelt words and / or use of an umlaut? Check. Looks like I've got my hands on some good old fashioned heavy metal. True metal as the kids would have it, forged in fire by Judas Priest and burnished by Iron Maiden.
Most of the songs begin with the title barked loudly, followed by a galloping guitar riff, then the first visit to the chorus arrives about a minute in to the song. Proper heavy metal, none of that namby pamby nu gubbins here, thank you very much.
Hello, must be time for a Dio era Sabbath mid tempo groover. That'll be "Rise Of Evil". A paean to the greats of metal? That'll be "Metal Crüe" - note umlaut. Me and my studded wristband loved this, heavy, heavy, metal mania all of the way. Yeah.
