For a while now, there have been lots of bands clinging to the label of punk/pop (bands such as fall out boy, madina lake, etc.). While these bands produce, for the most part, pretty good music, that is all it has been. Pretty good. Not bad, but not great either. In fact, since Blink there has been no real band that has ultimately defined this genre. Attack! Attack! (not to be confused with Attack Attack!), have here produced 10 quality songs. They show promise that, given a little time, they could become that talisman. Track 8, which is probably most similar to fall out boy, is probably the worst track on the album (for the record) and is the only hint of any screaming here.

ok so i saw attack attack on 3/11/08 with funeral for a friend
this album is amazing i picked it up for 3 quid at the gig
in my opinon they were better live but this cd is still well worth it

also the band were super nice when i meet them

Fantastic album. You can totally see the LA influence on the production of this album, whilst keeping the best parts of influences brought in from the bands that Attack Attack have on their CV's.
A polished album that should appeal to Lost Prophet/Fall Out Boy, etc. fans.

This is a really good debut album from the next Welsh rock band to break on to the scene - If you like Fall Out Boy/Foo Fighters/Green Day/Lost Prophets you'll love this.
