Some nice miniatures 12 Nov 2002
By P. Duggan - Published on Amazon.com
I didn't have any of the problems the other reviewer had. I actually got a free extra kuo-toa fig thrown in by mistake. These figs are a bit less dynamic in their posing than the 2 other Drow figs available. The displacer beast is a great sculpt reminiscent of Dave Trampier's original Monster Manual illustration

WOTC customer service is fairly good about sending out missing or broken bits. Its a shame Chainmail was cancelled.

A box of drow and Drizz't thrown in! 17 Nov 2002
By APE Gamer - Published on Amazon.com
We're going to run through the WoTC adventure City of the Spider Queen, and so I'm preparing by painting Drow and other Underdarklings. I like the assortment in this boxed set, although I'd have thrown in a couple extra Drow soldiars and perhaps left out one of the Kuo-Tao.

Also, the Drow ranger could pass as the popular Forgotten Realms character Drizz't.

I had no trouble assembling the models. The Drow wizard came with a back banner that I thought looked a little silly, so I didn't attach it, and simply puttied over the small hole in the wizard's back.

WotC sells GARBAGE 24 Sep 2002
By "dykstrav" - Published on Amazon.com
I just recieved my Attack of the Drow set in the mail not more than fifteen minutes ago, and I'm so mad I don't ever want to buy anything from WotC again.

The Drow Ranger, arguably the coolest figure in the set, was missing an arm. Whatever- it might be somewhere else in the box. It wasn't. And when I touched the sword on the figure, it fell off! So I don't get the coolest figure in the set, and have to shell out six more dollars if I want it. WotC isn't getting that cash.

The displacer beast has so much flash on it it would take you at least a day to file it all off with a dremel set and a set if needle-point files. All figures come with a little flash, that's to be expected. This displacer beast has something like a quarter of the total weight of the figure taken up by flash. I sure have better things to do with about five hours than scratch away flash from an ineptly-cast figure.

I don't ever plan on buying anything from WotC again in the miniatures department since they can't seem to make a figure that takes less than a day to assemble and paint. Their competitors simply make better products at cheaper prices.
