Format: Paperback
This is a wonderful retelling of the legend of atlantis which inspired some good descriptive writing and discussion about characters feelings. The illustrations are beatiful and they prompted more discussion with the chn and they were also a good starting point for some art work of their own.

I read this story to my year 3 class and they were deeply engrossed in the book and captured by its wonderful illustrations, which were the inspiration for some beautiful art work.

Girl aged 8 - my Year 3 teacher read this lovely legend to us. That book inspired me and now I'm saving up to buy the book! It has lovely and beautiful illustrations. I would recommend that you purchase this book as children who like adventurous tales would love it as much as I do!

Boy aged 8 - I had heard of the legend when I was 3 but now, I am 8 and my Year 3 teacher read the legends openly to me. As she read from this book, my classmates listened open mouthed to the beautiful words and lovely illustrations! I would certainly recommend this book because it has enchanting illustrations and breathe taking words!
