Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The initial Atkins book is really all you need and this is just a money spinning extra. Although Atkins works (despite the bad press it gets everywhere), the books lose purpose around week 4 of the plan. You do need to read the initial Atkins diet revolution book from cover to cover before doing Atkins (those that don't provide the bad press through total ignorance) but this book only really repeats things in a different order. It has a few motivational case studies and some good recepies. However, still written totally with a US audience in mind and so the recepies can be difficult to understand due to measurements and names of food. If you are thinking of doing Atkins then buy the diet revolution book first. I should point out that Atkins works but like all weight loss still requires dedication and buying this book won't make you thin alone!!!
