These little inserts (about the size of a fingernail but thicker) are highly effective keeping your camera housing fog free either in water warmer or cooler than the ambient air temperature. One of these at a time is enough for a Go Pro; I have also used the same inserts for a larger (point-and-shoot digital) still camera inside a waterproof housing with the same tremendous results - I just used two of them. I would say that, while the product looks expensive, when you've seen the results compared with not using them you'll likely be convinced that it's a worthwhile expense - especially when you consider that these tabs can be re-used. A few minutes in the oven rejuvenates the inserts allowing them to be redeployed with the same results (this is not just a user tip but the manufacturer's own recommendation).

They keep humidty down in the GoPro waterproof case when using the camera under water or in wet conditions. Appear to do exactly that.

Would not buy a Gopro without these littel extra's, Don't want to spend X amount on a gopro only to find out your water proof housing has fogged up and you have lost that shot of a life time.. would highly recommend!!

These are necessary if you are using the camera underwater, but at this price, they hardly represent value for money.

I do a lot of boating and the GoPro is ideal, however, the changing ambient temperatures on the water would cause the housing to fog up so I'd lose a lot of clear footage from time to time which was infuriating. I used these anti fog tabs for the first time yesterday and the results were perfect! No fogging whatsoever! I'll be buying a store of these for sure!

Quite expensive for what they are but that seems to apply to any accessory with the GoPro name. I have no idea if I would have had condensation problems without them, but I used these repeatedly on around 38 scuba dives on a recent trip and had no fogging problems. The small size and tight fit of the GoPro housing on the Hero 4 means that normal silica gel packs will not fit, so these seem the way to go.

Bought these anti-foggers at a great price from a great dealer.
I now have no more foggy videos and pictures when I go snorkelling.
Once they get wet, don't panic, just leave them to dry and use again.
Excellent bit of kit.

Not fully effective if the lens is in the full blast of 70mph cold air, as on the front of a motorbike. Lens still fogs up.
