I bought one of these for our office a year or so ago, having bought the Aten Masterview CS-1774, and knowing that Aten produces quality KVMs.
The device works as advertised and switches perfectly between machines. It is also unpowered, or more correctly derives its power from the 5V USB line. My only issue with it is the switching speed: while the VGA switches instantly, the keyboard and mouse can take up to 10 seconds, which is a wee bit slow.
