When the people who made Dawn of Fate said they were releasing a new Terminator game, you can imagine I was a little worried. However, the more I heard about it, the more I liked it. I finally had the chance to rent it out my local Blockbusters later on, and believe you me, I was not disappointed.
The game shoves you straight into the action. You fight through post-apocolypse Hollywood on foot, playing gunner on a vehicle and eventually riding shotgun (or rather, minigun) in a helicopter.
The game is suprisingly true to the movie, showing briefly how the T-850 was captured, and reprogrammed, before sending you back in time.
The missions set in 2003 are suprisingly good. I was expecting rubbishyness, but a lot of work was put into them.
The co-op mode is not as good as the rest of the game, however. Basically, you and your mate are riding shotgun in a helicopter as you fly over Skynet forces. You have to take them all out before you can proceed to the next area, before having to do it again... and again... and again... and, well, you get the idea.
To wrap it up, Terminator 3: Redemption is a very professional game. While only Terminator fans like me will grasp it, I'm pretty sure newcomers will enjoy it also.
