Whilst the likes of Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias continue to take the music world by storm with their latin tinged English language pop/rock. Chayanne has consistently made first class mainstream Spanish language chartbound music. (And with little fanfare might I add!)

This 'Grammy' nominated set features some of his greatest hits (Salome, Refugio de amor - with Vanessa Williams, Atado a tu amor etc), and if the music sometimes sounds a little dated, Chay's harmonious singing style manages to elavate even the dullest of tunes to higher heights.

More Eros Ramazzotti than Julio Iglesias!! Keep an eye on this boy he's gonna go far...

I heard most of the fast songs at my salsa aerobics class. Fantastic dance and lovers music and well recommended. I love it, especially track no. 8 - salomé.

This album is fantansic! Every song is great! It is unususal for me to like every song on an album - but this one is the exception. The instrumental arrangements of the ballads are exquisite. Chayanne has a way of emoting in these songs that just sends me to another place for awhile. I literally can listen to this CD over and over and not tire of it. It has the right mix of slow and fast tempo songs. Ricky Martin can't hold a candle to him. A class act all the way.

Atado A Tu Amor has got to be, in my opinion, one of the best, if not the best, Latin music CD out there. Every track, from Track 1 to Track 13 is excellent. From fast, dance music like Salome(Track 8) to slower love songs like Atado a Tu Amor(Track 4) or Pienso en ti(Track 9), Chayanne can do it all. Very rarely can you find a CD with every song on the CD being excellent and exceptional, but Chayanne has done it with Atado A Tu Amor.
